The location was great, really close to ikebukuro station which is main and easy for transport. Also out of the insane business of places like shibuya but still with nice restaurants and lively alleyways around. Free internet access was a plus, and the hotel staff were accomodating and friendly. Cheap laundry facilities, average but completely comfortable rooms.

Awesome location! A stone throw away from Ikebukuro station, which gets you everywhere in Tokyo. The staff are brilliant, so helpful, fluent in english and so willing to help you understand the metropolis that is Tokyo. We had the traditional room, sure there was a funny smell when we entered the room, but open the window for 5 mins and never smelt it again! The futons were great and we slept like babies. Close to so many great restaurants and karaoke bars! For budget travellers definitely recommend! Free wi-fi was also of great help!

The staff was phenomenal! Such a nice place to stay- so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that all my needs were met!

Really clean, awesome location right the main train line, good cheap restaurants all around, has a fridge and microwave so you can eat at the hotel, very fast and reliable wireless in the rooms, free tea and coffee, helpful staff. We were so pleased to find a nice and reasonably priced place to explore Tokyo. Would definitely come back.

1/ Hotel staff speaks Mandarin 2/ Facilities are very useful and practical, like hot drinking water, free tea/coffee, microwave/toaster/fridge provided/trave info like lonely planet provided. 3/ Staff are friendly and helpful.

1/ The futon bed is not very flat/comfortable.
